There are now many courses that offer mindfulness training, some are through computer screens while others share introductions through brief night classes. While these are helpful places to start, there is no substitute for the support of a group who are committing time to practice together in a supportive environment. This weekend will nourish both your understanding and experience of meditation/mindfulness.

A four-day residential retreat at Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre, this retreat is inspired by the work of Francis Wellar. With gentleness and support we will turn toward the shadow-lands of sorrow, shame, grief and loss. As a community, we will use meditation, ritual and embodied movement/dance to explore the relationship between sorrow, compassion and joy.

Bodhi Seeds - A six week residential retreat for young adults. July 28th - 8th September. Now in its second year, this retreat will offer an affordable opportunity for people ages 18 - 35 to practice living dharma. As a community, we will deepen our skills in contemplation, meditation, integrate service to the land, dance and explore ritual in ways that are authentic, safe and engaging. The focus this year will be around giving and receiving, there will be opportunities to deepen your facilitation/leadership skills as well as receive teachings from others. How about nurturing your energy and resources with an evening of meditation/mindfulness and conscious dance in a caring community of awakening people? Pause, breathe and dance some joy in and through the body. This will be way to nourish the heart to sustain you through the festive season.

We cant fight our struggles because they feed off the fight but we can have them dance!


In the spirit of appreciation for life, a proportional of the money raised will go to support Mercy ships, these are international hospital ships that help people less off.
